On April 17th, Maryland was overjoyed to receive over 100,000 masks from our Sister State Anhui Province China. Our International Affairs Division worked extensively with the Anhui Foreign Affairs Office, Maryland Emergency Management Agency and Maryland-Anhui Sister State committee to make this happen. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Anhui Provincial Government, Anhui Equestrian Association, Dangshan County, U-Play Factory and the Chinese Embassy in D.C. for their generous donation. We are so very lucky to have partners to support us during these challenging times.

On April 20th, the Maryland Emergency Management Agency received 40,000 additional masks from Anhui Province China. The donation for the Maryland Horse Industry Board was made by the Anhui Equestrian Association, the Anhui Province General Administration of Sports and the China International Equestrian Endurance (CEI3*) Race, in the Dangshan County People’s Government, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. We thank them for their generous donation!
