The Maryland Sister State Program relies on an extensive structure of representative committees and volunteers for each sister state. The Sister State committees draw upon the expertise of more than 200 individuals from various educational institutions, businesses, and other organizations across Maryland. These committees unite to form a powerful network both home and abroad, fostering public and private partnerships for both socio-political and economic growth.
